A concept that you should have heard of is “gross weight”. In daily life, the so-called “gross weight” refers to the weight of the goods together with its packaging, while in digital-to-analog conversion, it refers to the weight of the sensor surface covering, such as: silicone protective layer, waterproof protective layer, etc., or when measuring the surface pressure of a curved object, the pseudo pressure displayed by the two layers of the thin film sensor due to the bending of the sensor surface. The process of de-grossing is to eliminate these added values in advance and obtain the real pressure data in actual measurement.
After the air pump made by the digital sensor is exhausted, the tare weight caused by the force deformation of the sensor needs to be reset to zero by pressing the key or reset to zero after the system is restarted. Otherwise, the number in the processor register will drop and increase after digital conversion, thus showing the result that the pumping value and the real air pressure value are not true.
